It’s official. We’re now a Handmade Artisan on Amazon. If you’ve been saying to yourself “I sure wish I could buy one of these cards”, well now you can. Jump on over to our store on Amazon for all the latest cards.
It’s April 18, 2018. A year and 2 months in and the Amazon Handmade Marketplace is a crash and burn failure. I think we’ve sold a couple dozen cards. Selling fees have gone up to 20% and it costs $2.66 to ship out a card. Our ranking in the Handmade stationary/card section is somewhere around 246,430 or maybe it was 632,599. It doesn’t matter, there are so many crappy printed card vendors flooding the space it is impossible for quality card crafters to make any impact.
So with that said, we are building our own eCommerce site right here on top of our seldom used blog. This experiment will last a year. The plan is to market a limited number of quality, general use cards at reasonable prices.
2017 looks like it will be a great year. I’m feeling good and getting motivated making bunches of new cards. Back in October I was able to help crew the 2016 Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer and my husband Larry walked it. This year we will both do it again. It’s a great organization and an amazing experience. Read about my husband’s experience here.
This year I am focused on box sets of the most popular card types. Thank Yous, Friendship, Christmas and maybe a few Valentines. I’ll also be making plenty of Birthday Cards, Thanksgiving and my favorite, Halloween.
For all of 2017, all box sets sold directly will benefit the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer and our team, Save the Peaches. We will donate 1/2 of the sale price to the team for every set sold. A special order page will be setup shortly. This donation applies to direct sales of box set cards only. Any sales through third party sellers are not part of this special offer.
Join Team Agilysys on Wednesday June 22nd for our kickoff fund raiser at the Travelers Building in Alpharetta. Stop by the lobby between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to get some of the nicest hand made cards around. Each and every card is made with love and care by Lorraine Drum the newest member of Team Agilysys. Most all the cards are only $5.00 each and half of every sale will be donated to Team Agilysys for the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness.
The Travelers building is located at the corner of Windward Parkway and Windward Concourse in Alpharetta Ga. at 1000 Windward Concourse. Stop in and help out an amazing local charity raise money that stays right here in Georgia!
Check out all the cards here on the CardDoc site. I’ll have lots of them at the sale. All kinds for Birthday, Get Well, Thank You and Christmas as well as many special cards to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness.
It’s official, I’m entered in the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer and man do I need your help. My major fundraising project is of course my cards. If you want to help this amazing organization think about ordering a few of my cards. Any cards ordered now through Oct 15th I’ll donate 1/2 the price to the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer.

Below are several special cards made just to help supporrt my fundraisisng efforts for this amazing organization and cause. Check out their web site linked above for all the info on them.
I need to raise at least $1000 for my team so lets get hopping and order those cards today.
Almost all the cards you see are $5.00 each. You can order here and I’ll deliver them at the monthly training walks or if you’re out of the Atlanta area we can mail them for a small postage fee.
If you’d like to just donate to help me reach my goal go here to my donation page and be generous.
Thanks you all for your support.
PS: My husband talked me into participating. he’s also walking and so is Scarlett
WOW!! I can’t believe how good I feel. On Thursday I had an RF nerve burn done on all 8 lumbar medial branch nerves. I expected to feel like crap and be in agony from the procedure pain based on my past experience with another pain doctor but this is amazing so far.
I know it will hurt eventually. Doctor Wada at the North Fulton Pain & Spine Center warned me what could happen. I know what to expect this time and that makes it a lot less scary. I’ll show you a picture of the pin cushion in my lower back. If you want to see it click the tiny pic but be warned it’s a picture of needle holes, in my back. 🙂 This along with my Ketemine infusion just a couple of weeks ago I’m really hopeful to have a reduced pain November and December this year.
Enough about pain, lets look at what’s on the workbench. Today I’m punching out poinsettia flowers like crazy with my new punch from Stampin’ Up. I’m using some super fun glitter paper and they are turning out great!
These are going to look so good. I can’t wait to get these on a card.
Packing up everything for the craft fair tomorrow. Hope to see you there.
Saturday November 7, 2015 is the day. From 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Cumming First Baptist Fall Bazaar. I’ll have hundreds of cards available for any occasion, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Here’s a look at some of the cards available.
Lot’s of different Christmas cards to choose from. Here are just a tiny sample of what’s available. Mention our blog, carddoc.net and get a free Christmas Card!
And more Christmas Cards.
I hope to see lots of friends and neighbors this Saturday. Tell all your friends and bring the whole family.
That’s the end of the blatant plug for the craft fair. 🙂 On a personal note I just had a lower back procedure today so I’m either going to be feeling great Saturday or I’ll be doubled over in pain. I’m hoping for the feeling great part. I’ll know better tomorrow morning when the pain pills wear off.
Busy week ahead and no rest for this card making queen! I’m getting some last minute cards made for the Cumming First Baptist Church Fall Festival and Craft Fair this Saturday. I’m putting together a few Christmas Cards with my new “Reason for the Season” Stamp set from Stampin Up. The Poinsettia punch makes the flower making super easy.
I did finish a few general cards yesterday as well.
Here are some Christmas Cards I’ll have at the Craft Fair.Stop by and pick up some for all your extra special friends and family.
It’s All Hallows Eve (or Halloween) and I’m still making treat bags and boxes to give out tonight. I got up early and found this cute Wickedly Sweet Treat kit from Paper Pumpkin and had to get it done.
these little bags are adorable and so easy and fun to make.
So cute! A few lucky kids will get these tonight.
Also had this really pretty Paper Pumpkin kit pictured below. It’s going to the craft show next Saturday at Cumming First Baptist Church
Next Saturday Nov 7, is the Craft Fair from 9-3 at Cumming First Baptist Church. See you there.
It was a pretty busy week. I got out and about but is wasn’t all fun and games. My little baby Dixie had to go to the vet for some minor surgery. She developed some bumps on her chest, I panicked and the Vet said they should be removed. Our Vet, Dr Esbeck from the Sawnee Animal Clinic is super good and has taken care of all my babies for the last 10 years or more. Dixie is doing great. She is tolerating the stitches and has not needed the cone of shame.
My infusion therapy was awesome! The Doctors cranked the dose up and I feel great this week.
The awesome box of punches below got delivered Tuesday. I guess I ordered them while I was a little bit foggy after my infusion because I sure don’t remember it. But heck who doesn’t like a box of EK punches!! This takes care of all the square one’s I’ve been jonesing for.
I’ve gotten behind on my Paper Pumpkin sets too. Here are 2 that I still need to get through.
Finally this week I’ve got to get ready for the fall craft fair at Cumming First Baptist Church on Nov. 7th from 9:00 am till I don’t know when. Stop by and say Hi and grab up some great Christmas Cards.
